Maeght Foundation
-
In Saint-Paul-de-Vence, the Maeght Foundation, which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024, remains a beacon of living creation, founded by Marguerite and Aimé Maeght. A pioneer of modern art, it houses 13,000 works, including those by Miró, Giacometti, Calder or Chagall, in a case signed Sert, in harmony with nature and works specially created by Braque, Bury, Giacometti or Ubac. The extension, dug in the basement, can accommodate a permanent collection and cultural events.
